"What are you secret thoughts of Ritual?"

Well, I guess my secret thoughts about Ritual are that its not really a SECRET! Yes, everyone has their own ceremony, and unique things that its individual chapter does. Nonetheless, I think that the foundation that Ritual was founded on remain the same for all of organizations. If you looked at everyone’s Creed, you would see a lot of similarities especially the VALUES!!! Maybe, I should not say all, but I am pretty confident that we all share similar values—we value brother/sisterhood, service, academics, leadership, personal development, and generally, some where in the Ritual or Creed it eludes to becoming better people!

So I guess the biggest SECRET about my thoughts about RITUAL is, yes, there are differences among our RITUAL, but in the end, I think they are more ALIKE than DIFFERENT.

My other thought about RITUAL is that Ritual should be practiced DAILY. Like the video we watched said, Ritual is not a performance; it is a WAY OF LIVING. Ritual should not be HIDDEN; it should be SHARED with others within and outside of our community. Maybe, we do not share every detail, but we share the PURPOSE. What Ritual means to us? I think once we are able to really appreciate our Ritual, and what it truly means we can start to incorporate it into our lives and then share it with others, and finally, we can expect it from them!

One thing that I learned from UIFI that I loved was the saying below:

LEARN IT.
LIVE IT.
TEACH IT.
EXPECT IT.

The big saying at UIFI was LTR!!! (LIVE YOUR RITUAL)!

So, again, my secret thoughts are that RITUAL should not be a SECRET!!!
